Hetty is up for grabs!

Time for someone to grab themselves a bargain. A mere £22k. Loose change down the sofa for some.

After much deliberation, we have made the difficult decision that Hetty would be better off continuing her life journey elsewhere. She’d make an amazing AirBnB / small home for someone. Just not us, due to our current circumstances. We have concluded it is such a waste to have her sit idly on our driveway, basically providing the occasional accommodation for when we have friends stay, but mainly being the main source of shade for our lovely old dog, who makes use of this provision on a regular basis.

You can see how much love, effort and attention to detail has been bestowed upon her over the last few years by checking out the previous blogs.

In an effort to summarise some of the key points, we sat down this morning before the heat started to melt our brains, and also took some more photos of her. She does not have an MOT, and will need some work to get her through. New tyres are definitely on the agenda, with brakes following fast as the second requirement. Quite essential items, in my opinion, as she is not a light girl so having effective brakes and tyres are a no brainer. We have been starting her engine regularly, but she has not been moved off the drive since she went to get weighed, so could also do with a service too.

Here are the results from her latest photo shoot.

Key points to summarise her complete transformation include, but are not limited to:

Please get in touch if you are interested or have any questions. In an ideal world, we are looking to get back what we spent. This excludes the hundreds of man hours (which we considered to be a labour of love), and the blood sweat and tears shed during her transformation from crusty ole smelly van to a beautiful, unique place to live.
