Oooh! The paint has arrived! Here’s hoping for an external transformation over the coming weeks!
Painting began on the 1st August 2024. It was a task and a half and a lot of cussing was involved. I can only begin to imagine what painting the Forth Bridge must be like. This was one of the most tedious, tricky painting jobs I have ever done. And yes, I did paint, despite there being no photographic evidence of me doing so. Not only Hetty, but also my clothes, my hands, my face and even my hair. Go figure.
I think we finished around the 20th August and what a joyous day it was!
